The Visual Effects Association of BC (VEA[BC]) is a diverse group of BC-based visual effects professionals. Artists. Technicians. Coordinators. Supervisors. Producers. We, as a group, all recognize the need for a voice to speak up for the interests of the visual effects community...so here we are. We hope you'll join us.

FULL VEA[BC] membership will help you professionally and help strengthen your professional community.  
Membership lets you:

   • Learn about the industry Events and Jobs first.
   • Consolidate HR in BC and make it easier for work to find you and you to find work.
   • Create a credible place to communicate and discuss all VFX topics using the VEA[BC] forms.
   • Finally create place to provide and receive information to and from our community instantly.
   • Take part in the evolution of your professional community.
   • Speak and vote on all industry related issues at VEA[BC] meetings

Membership Requirements
To qualify for membership in the VEA(BC), one must be a Canadian Citizen and a BC resident and/or fufil eligibility requirements for Provincial Tax incentives geared toward VFX.

Requires a minimum of two years of employed experience in a similar or related position; pertaining to the creation of Visual Effects in the Film and Television industry.

Resumes, Demo Reels* and References to be submitted and verified by representatives of the VEA(BC).		 OR The sponsorship from 3 current Full Members, in good standing, plus Resume, Demo Reel* and References to be submitted and verified by representatives of the VEA(BC).
$125 / year
* Demo Reels are required for all applicants who are applying with an Artist Based background.
