Our members come from all vocations within the Visual Effects industry from, 2d and 3d Artists, set and production personnel, managers and supervisors, to facilities and facility owners. Film Incentive BC / Production Services Tax Credit

Basic PSTC25%The accredited qualified BC labour expenditure of the corporation.
Regional PSTC6%The accredited qualified BC labour expenditure of the corporation pro-rated by the number of days of principal photography in British Columbia outside of the designated Vancouver area to the total days of principal photography in BC. This tax credit must be accessed in conjunction with the Basic PSTC.
Distant Location Regional PSTC6%The accredited qualified BC labour expenditure of the corporation pro-rated by the number of days of principal photography in British Columbia within a prescribed area to the total days of principal photography in BC. This tax credit must be accessed in conjunction with the Regional PSTC.
Digital Animation or Visual Effects DAVE15%The accredited qualified BC labour expenditures directly attributable to digital animation or visual effects activities. This tax credit must be accessed in conjunction with the Basic PSTC.

Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit

This fully refundable credit is available at the rate of 25% of the qualified labour expenditure of an eligible production.

There are 58 Countries that have treaties with Canada for Co-Production.  Telefilm Canada sets these standards and administers Co-Production in Canada.
